Okay, so i just want to confirm this is true. if im using virtual pc with another os and a virtual harddrive does that make it safe to download things that may be .... iffy. as in if i get a virus on that i can just delete the virtual harddrive and the virus is gone. can it get off that onto my actual computer?

As long as there is no network connection between the Virtual PC and your real PC, there isn't a big change that a virus might come over from the Virtual PC to your real PC.

Virtual PC is very good.
I am using it to run 3Linux systems and I have never had any problem with it.
