Guys i want to read few Russian .txt files on my ubuntu but when i open them in Openoffice it ask me for language and i select Russian but i still cant read it... none of my text editors can read that file... there are just some fake symbols.. help me out guys Grin

I'm not sure if this will work..but can you maybe try:

sudo apt-get install texlive-lang-cyrillic

?
