Deseat is a handy site that generates a list of all the accounts and services you have signed up for using your hotmail or gmail email address.

It matches them with direct links to their delete account pages, and instructions on how to delete the accounts forĀ  good.

Accounts created on some websites may not have delete links, but you can sign in and change any stored information preventing it being linked back to you.

It couldnt delete some of my old accounts, but the sites it couldn't delete let you remove yourself manually via an email to the admin, just thought I'd add that to this thread so anyone clicking delete has another option open to them, if their circumstances are similar to mine.

This one is similar but you can search for websites by name, it also has some handy tips for things to do before you delete an account, so no personal data or images get left behind after deletion, and to remind you to save a copy of things you'll no longer be able to access after its gone. https://www.accou. . .er.com/en/
