"One death is a tradgedy, a million is a statistic"

A really sobering quote - not sure who by.

Your neighbour dies, who you really liked and where friend with. Your'e amazingly upset.

3 million people die in Africa, all you do is frown.

It is never to LATE to become what you never WERE

The first casualty of war is innocence - platoon

Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few. - Winston Churchill

This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

ok i'll stop now Pfft

"In actual fact the pacifistic-humane idea is perfectly all right perhaps when the highest type of man has previously conquered and subjected the world to an extent that makes him the sole ruler of this earth… Therefore, first struggle and then perhaps pacifism."- Adolf Hitler

"genius is in the means not the ends"

"One mans freeedom fighter, anothers terrorist"

"It's better to have blood on the hands then an obligation"-kurdish

"It's better to be at war than idle"-kurdish

"Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live."- Adolf Hitler

I leave you with:

"It is a good thing for an uneducated man
to read books of quotations"- Sir Winston Churchill

I got a bunch of good quotes, and i'm glad to see:
"Our life is ending one minute at a time, if you were to die tomorrow, what would you do today" because it's probably my favorite. Anyways:

"It isn't the rebels who cause the troubles of the world, it's the troubles that cause the rebels."
"So quick to judge the lives of others, who are you to judge us?"
"Fighting the truth is a losing battle"
"One man gets to live and a dozen have to die. The reality that we create, we cross the line we love to hate. It's something we see everyday, but we always choose to look away."
"Lies - The true weapons of mass destruction"
"To escape the past is to sacrifice the future"
"even if choices are few, there is still merit in dying for the destiny of one's choosing"
"Unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it stays a grain, but if it dies, it yileds forht much fruit"
"You can't say civilization isn't advancing, in every new war they kill you in a new way"
"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today, it's already tomorrow in Australia"
"You can fool some of the people all the time and all of the people some of the time, which is just long enough to be president of the U.S."
"In a mad world, only the mad are sane."
"Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."
"If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door."
"An honest politicion is one who when is bought, will stay bought."
"An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind"
"Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday."
"We live in an age where pizza gets to your home faster than the police."
"One tequilla, two tequilla, three tequilla, floor"
"Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time."
"When i read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading."
"You're not drunk if you can hang onto the ground and not hold on."

That's almost it, i wasn't sure what you were looking for, so i just gave you a bunch. Pfft

'The only dope worth shooting is Nixon.' - Abbie Hoffman.

If you haven't, I suggest reading Steal This Book by Abbie Hoffman. I'd expect many of you to relate it to the Anarchists Cookbook, due to a lot of political activism content, as far as where to get good riot gear. More than anything, it's a history book. It gives you a strong sense of the age, and the severity of what they considered 'mild' activism.
