OK i'm planning to switch OS on a very old laptop, i'm planning to use it just for fun and learning linux..
The laptop is a compaq presario 1610 and runs on a pentium I, it has a 3 GB hard drive (i know it's not a very good laptop Pfft).

I've read lots of topics about choosing which distro to start with but i thought that some systems are to heavy for this laptop..
i'm thinking on fedora core or mandrake, but i also heard a lot of good things about ubuntu....

what do you guys think?!?!?!

please help me Grin
