I searched Google like HELL, and I mean like HELL, and I've found two ways. But in both of them I had a problem.
The first one said that I need to open the CMD and type this command:

Code
nbtstat -a <IP>

And then press enter. When I do so, I'm supposed to get a list of hexadecimal numbers, and if the number 20 is on the list then the computer is hackable. The problem is... there was no list. It said "Host not found".

The second way said that I need to use ScanIP20 in order to find out the computer name, its workgroup and whether it is hackable. I've installed the program, opened it, typed the IP, pressed scan, yes. But I get no results.

Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance!

netstat -a is just a simple way to port scan another computer using windows.

however i suggest you use another program to do so. i use Nmap or bluesportscanner or quick scans.

i think the problem you have is you are pinging hte hosts first and if the have firewalls they are most likely going to reject pings.

so turn off the pinging function and it should work. use bluesportscanner for this is you cant find it on your current program.

nbtstat is for netbios, file and print sharing
20 would mean it has something shared

It's an old hack and you prolly won't find any host up and running vurnable to that.

The portscanning idea would work but you should consider another method of entry.

I downloaded Blue's PortScanner V5 but have no idea how to use it (I mean, ok, copy ip, press 'scan', but I don't know what to do now with the results). The program I was talking about, ScanIP20, was supposed to show me the computer name & workgroup if I give it the IP address. For some reason it didn't work. What I need to do is to get one's computer name using the IP address that I've got, and from that point I can continue using the guide's information.
Sorry for being such a newbie, it's just that I'm new to hacking.
