hahaha i was thinkin the same thing, saw C++ and then i was like "wait...did i post in the wrong thread?" but realized NEH, i was indeed in the hardware section...
I suggest Dev C++, its free, and easy to set up. Plus when you compile your code it builds it into an executable file for easy use right on the spot...enjoy

or you can download borland developer studio architet which is absolutely awesome except that it comes with a whole lot of other programs and seems more like bloat ware but it has alot of features if you want to develop extensively complex applications
