I recently made an iso disk for simple mepis and Mandriva, I tried Mandriva linux and when it came up, it came up with command prompt. So I messed with just some commands (I don't know really any) and couldn't figure it out. I can login and everything but after that I'm still in Mandriva. So I figured i'd try Simple Mepis. I got it installed and It runs from desktop too, but I can't figure it out to get hooked up to the internet.

It's running off a compaq that ran windows xp, and it's kinda old (it shipped with windows 98 second edition). So any help with either of these problems would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Never Mind, I got simply mepis online
