Maybe a quiz for noobs to take. They have to read through the FAQ and forum rules and then take a quiz on it. If they get less than 100% then they cant post in the forums.
I'm talking really easy questions that you would have to read through the FAQ and forums through to know.

Not a bad idea, but there is a chance that they can eventually see the pattern to the answers and get full points after a few tries.

...what pattern? The pattern of DON'T BE AN IDIOT DON'T POST SHIT KTHXBAI?

If they discover that pattern I'm a happy man.

Like spyware said, if they can see a pattern then they are definitly smart enough to post. Its not like its a freakin exam. They just have to read the faq and forum rules and answer questions about proper procedure.

I have to agree, if they are unable to get 100% on a 10-20 question quiz, they aren't capable of learning.
