What are the Real dangers of finding a open FTP port after scanning with Nmap?

No real danger, people could try to brute the FTP auth I guess.

okay i thought so. so there is usually a Auth process? oh here is the Nmap results if anyone is intrested

well ya...i was meaning someone coulnt connect to port 21 but then again anything is possible when it comes to computers.....there is always a way.

Well, when it comes to port 21, the only way is if a server (most likely an FTP server) is actually running on port 21. If that's not the case, port 21 is safe.

Notice the little philosophy trick. First I start a speech, then I give you the illusion I am speeching. I only need one command to abort the whole speech, for all there is, is an illusion. Nothing more. Funny huh? Two opening commands can be closed with only one.

So I guess when I invoked the illusion everything else became "illusioned" as well. It's funny how this works, perhaps I should study this "illusion-effect", what do you think?
