How can I read a number into a php variable from a webpage?for example i have a site A which contains some words and a number after it. I run apache at home and need to get this number into a variable. ( the number changes every time ). I tried with sscanf(), but don't know how to open the page if it is on a seperate domain.

I was looking for:
file_get_contents()
I found it here on hbh's forums
