Ya, I'm not sure if this is the proper place to put this, but I was wondering if there was any way I could get a free (preferably legal) copy of Microsoft word that would (hopefully) run on XP pro. I used to have one on my computer, but something happened and it deleted. Is there any wqay could get a copy or possibly recover it? (I need it for my dads resume. His asshole bosses only accept MS Word documents.)_

Why not use OpenOffice. It is free and you can save the documents as .doc

Or StarOffice, I'd go with OpenOffice though, but either will do

I'm not sure, but can't you like...go to control panel, then add or remove windows components, and just reinstall ms office?
