This is another thread regarding the new HBH linux distro.
How would i change the default boot Splash Screen, Background menu title's etc?
And i need to be able to rebuild these changes back into the live CD.
i have googled around but no such luck.

in more than one topic both of you have given the idea that this isn't so much a project open to all hbh members, but more like a closed team project. (on the graphics topic you even posted that if we wanted to post credits on background images
you can include some faded out scripting but no including names (but if u insist you can include myself, larikan or djdotti)

but you keep discussing these matters on the forum and asking for help.
both this and the other "how can u further help hacker".

would all be fine. if you didn't shove away ppl like spyware for pointing this same thing out.

if it's private discuss it on irc and keep technical problems away. if you want help from all the comunity then it should be a comunity project, with credits to all hbh members with members being asked if they're articles are going to get posted etc..

Well this is a open project, you can do whatever you want for the distro as like many members are doing yet. Of course we cant work on a iso in 50, so the isos mans for now are Me and SANTA, becouse we decided to start the work.
About the names in the graphics im not agree, but obviously the names will be in the articles, scripts and so on. Maybe a page whit a list of who contributed. And about points, theire are pointless, we are building a live cd linux, if u wanna help help, else just dont help. No points for it, but think.... we are starting just now whit this work. Maybe after few releases owr live cd will became popular and as boucer said in the graphics thread all people that will use it will see your articles, your work and your name. This is like 100000000000000000000 of points for me, for you guys no??

And another thing : ONLY MR_CHEESE and admins can say me to work on this project in another forum, irc or whatever.
So : PLEASE STOP BORING ME WHIT STUPID QUESTIONS.

1)ME AND SANTA are the starters of this OPEN project
2)All HBH MEMBERS can contribute in everithing
3)No points will be awared by me, only Mr_Cheese after the work is done can decide to give points away
4)you can give me hints about all in this project but, final decision will be taken by SANTA and LARIKA only.
5)If youre not going to help us, if yourent interessed in this project, dont help, dont post.

So,

SANTA read this (regarding the splash screen): http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=17113

Can I take a look at the current ISO file of "Hacker"?

as far as moving this conversation goes, I think this project is fantastic, and haven't seen any of the exclusion you have sakarin.

I've talked to only_samurai about setting up a forum just for this, and i think it'll go ahead.

I'd like to take this chance to thanks SANTA and Larika as well, they have put a huge amount of work into this.

Also all the people who've made submissions.

I look forward to the finished product. also i've made some scripts, but i've still got to tweakthem all a little before i send 'em on.

how do you guys move the ISO between you?

no i was just curious about it, since P2P traffic is quite buggy with large volumes. the only thing i could think of would be like a private torrent?

but aside from that no i'm afraid i've got nothing.

i'd like to beta test but ATM my connection is very slow, and also i'm flat out at work..... in about 1 month i'd be flattered though
