my friend was giving a presentation, and it was always trying to connect to the internet. so I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to stop it from connecting. he does have a lot of pictures in his presentation, about 2 hours worth. if any one can help, I would be very thankful for it, and I know he would too!

get a free firewall with out the smart recognize feature. when it says "Powerpoint is trying to access the internet. Do you want to allow it" Click no and save. problem solved.

I thank you both for your help, I have never used power point. so I will let him know what you all said. I know he will also thank you! but I do agree that he should store them locally.
