its a replace word feature of php-fusion im guessing cheese is using, document is replaced with the <I></I>

Isn't it possible to let it put a source comment in the middle of the word instead? This would look better since the word wouldn't be split...

well, i actually think javascript is pretty much blocked anyway, i think its an old thing that could do with removing
