Hey as the title sugests I need a Hex editor and I have no idea what I should be lookiong for. So if you wouldn't mind can some one recomend a good Hex editor for me. Oh yeah, it has to work on Windows XP Home.

When you recomed an editor please tell me why you are, as in tell me what the benifits of the Hex editor are. The least I would like are simply the raw computer text and a transalation, thats the very least.

xvi32 I think it was called, erm, its cool and totally free, has hex and normal letters (unicode ascii whatever)

i use a program called HHD Hex Editor.

small, simple to use, does the job.
