Are you serious, 19 replys of flame, I was obviously not starting it. I simply stated that I thanked you for your help and that I have been on the forums searching long enough to know that its beyond your knowledge. I know how to program in C++, but I thought learning the concept of it in VB would be much easier. I have have no idea how to bypass a hack shield. Meaning I KNOW you can reverse engineer it. But I want it done with VB\C++ code, and how do people stop a Hack Shield without reverse engineering it.

Not all 19 replies were flaming you. IIRC, it started with laughing at you, then flaming you, then stealing your thread because the original thread sucked.
You have been searching in our forums long enough to know that it will not be covered here; the site's collective knowledge is irrelevant. What you're attempting is despised by anyone that actually puts real effort into playing games well. I think you have misunderstood the focus of this site.
My suggestion would be to try a site that would be more suited to the answers you're looking for.

GO DIE IN A HOLE AND DON'T BOTHER SENDING A POSTCARD!
I only have 1.6Mb/s, downloads only max consistently at 192KB/s. My parents wont even let me have internet on the computer in my room because apparently some one will find out who I am and kill my family <--WDFH?!?
Nah, Zephyr, you're cool. If I could, I'd kill off some of my food budget for faster Internet too...
Kill 2 birds with one stone lol

Then reverse engineer it, monitor how it works, and learn from it.

I don't have the restriction of such parental discretion... however, such "freedom" comes at a price, as your parents and older friends will tell you. Oh, and I hate postcards.
Ironically, I'm eating dinner now, so the diet-to-faster-Internet connection thing isn't working so well for me... On a serious note, look to see if there have been any wireless broadband startups in your area... I know a company recently starting offering it in mine. Then, just come up with ways to save money.

Can't really blame him for that, either... since the OP's argument is so sketchy. At least you're getting SE practice.

The reason I want to hack games is because there really is nothing else out there to hack, that people will use. No ones going to use a hack used to crack a simple err "Crack Me"....But it seems that you are correct, Thank you all for your advice. It seems hacking involves more then just programming knowledg. Hmm I'm going to mess around with some application. Thanks again. |

You're right... I should've seen it before! No one uses Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office, Linux, OpenOffice, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, various messenger programs, or any of those other applications! Heck, forget about the Internet, too... most people don't even have computers! :whoa:

oh? have you ever actually attempted to crack an application before, or are you just saying that?
granted, the techniques shown in many crack-mes (read: the ones found here) are rarely applied in the real world, however, if you look to the ones on crackmes.de and others, there are real encrpytions and real protections being applied. |
