I have searched unix commands and chmod commands in google and got some idea on them. I know that you need the rm command in the second task to delete the logs but i still don't get the first one. So far i found where the logs are stored.

i have this so far

$ chmod option permission directory

i am not sure whether you need the option which would be -r i think and i am not sure whether you need the spaces. Also i don't know whether i should include the full directory or just the folder and the file, i am trying to read.
