can someone explain to me a technique of basic antialiasing? i have a cog-wheel on a blue background (wind and cloud effect used) both are blured. but its still bad. i need to do something with that wheel, you can see it here. i need antialiasing for it.

yes i've already googled this, but this is for circles, not for shapes like that cog-wheel.
