About Brighton:
One of Europe's biggest wifi hot-spots! Over 200 pubs many of which with free wifi access. Situated on the south coast, has many tourist attractions and things to do.
Details:
HBHCon will last all day, starts at 9:30am and finished at 5:30pm. This time includes lunch and breaks. After this finished, we will be going to pubs/cafes with wifi access. There are a maximum of 20 placements at this convention, so make sure you get your tickets quickly!
The convention consists of talks, lectures, demonstrations, videos, workshops, competitions.
This year we will be focusing on:
- - Web 2.0 exploitation and security.
- - Future of online security and hacking.
- - How dangerous can a website really be?
- - Programming tips, techniques with security in mind.
- - Hacking/Security Overview. XSS -> LFI/RIFI -> SQL Injection
- - Much much more!
The convention will be very well organised with demonstrations and test environments setup for virtually everything that will be discussed.
The convention is taking place in an IT suite, and several laptops will be available although we do strongly suggest bringing your own.
Many other talks and demonstrations are given, difficulty of the subjects we talk about vary from beginner to advanced. We aim to make all the talks/demonstrations easy to understand and follow.
You'll learn loads, and have great fun in the process! Last years HBH Con was a great success. You will also be able to meet many well known HBH members, such as: Mr_Cheese, system_meltdown, root_op etc!
There will also be t-shirts on sale at discounted prices.

Is there an age limit?
- There is no age requirement. We just require you have a mature personality and desire to learn. We have members attending from ages 15 right up to adults in their 30's. This event is aimed at everyone. Take into account if you are under 18 you will be unable to drink alchol, and majority of pubs require under 18's leave after 9pm.
I really want to come but can't pay by credit card or paypal. What can I do?
- The only payment we accept for tickets is online via the link above. No alternative methods of payment are available. We do not sell tickets on the door.
My knowledge is very basic, is it worth me coming? / I'm an uber 1337 h4x0r, is it worth me coming?
- The event is for everyone. The talks,demo's etc are presented in a way everyone will be able to understand and follow. We cover basics and work up to some very nice ideas and advanced techniques. There will be something for everyone.
