When logging in can we have it go back to the page you're look at?

A lot of forums have a function where when you login it takes you to the page you were just at, not the homepage like it does here at HBH. Could we have that? Because whenever I login or have an incorrect login it always goes to the home page and then you got to search for the article/thread you were just at and it's just a big inconvenience.

your right it is a big inconvenience to go through and find where you were. But if you login and hit the back button the newly added cookies will be sent with the request and you can be right back where you were and be logged in.

True, but why not make it do that automatically?
