I have 2 motorola I1s in the mail. I was doing some research and noticed that they have android 1.5 on them. Anyone have some knowledge on upgrading android? Seems like this wont be an easy fix. After all, Ive never had a driod.

Debugging is what programmers do to beta software to make it take up more room on your hard drive if it is running too efficiently.

My suggestion is root them and install a rom like biffmod. That's prob one way. Or if you don't want to root them your cellphone provider might provide an upgraded rom via over the air (OTA) updates.

I've been wondering about an upgrade myself. I'm on 2.1 but would like to get the extra multi-touch api that 2.2 supports.

I also believe not all phones running Android will be able to support 2.2
