Well, I think I know the basics of the challenge. I messed around with the image a bit, then got the message I think gives me the password, but this is where I run into some trouble. It seems the password runs right off the side of the image, and I'm a tad confused. Essentially, the picture shows

P**** (end of image)
S*****(and one last half-char)

I tried to keep this spoiler free, of course. Anyway, anyone know if I've got the right idea/wrong idea/no hope?

Then you're doing something completely wrong. The messages fills the entire image and does not run of the screen at all. I think this article explains very well how to do this challenge, although it is more like a very spoilerish instruction to get the answer.

Small hint: use the colour red to paint the image. It should create a very legible text.
