If it was called ruby then you'd expect it to run a Ruby or perhaps even a RoR site, since it's not doing I suggest we don't call it Ruby.
Personally I don't go for modern names, instead I'd choose the name of some mythical character who has something in common with the server. Either that or I name it after a location (my laptop is called Rome).
Athena - among other things greek goddess of defensive warfare
Nyx - greek godess of the night
Isis - egyption goddess of the underworld
Freyja - norse God of warfare and death
Of course perhaps those categories or names are all cliché. So:
Serenity - was the ship in FireFly
Inarra - The companion on Serenity

I say you name it BEAST because it's an awesome server 
Otherwise, I say don't go with athena because that's the card-catalog in my local library's win98 suuuuuppppeeeeerrrrr ssssllllllooooowwwwww computer. Norse names rock though, so I'd say go with one of those.
