How about a challenge where you get a source code and either have to make it faster (reduce the amount of lines of code), fix an error in it (wheter or not you are gven the error depends on how obvious it is) or just make a program from scratch.

I think it would be benificial to alot of people and would help them think more logically and solve problems quicker. It would also be good practise for programmers.

The only problem I could think of is that the process could not be automated and would have to be checked by an admin everytime.

Well we have the Patching Challenges, but I understand what you mean. I guess you want something for C++, Visual Basic etc? It sounds like a good idea!

A problem is that not everyone knows every language though :right:
