I have been doing C and PHP for a while now, and I feel confident enough to move up. I want to learn C++ and Java. I was told that Computer Science students at universities learn Java. So, for any of you guys that are experienced in this, can you recommend any good beginner books on Java and C++? The reason why I want a book is because I'm in a very low level school, and I tend to finish work fast. I usually finish with an hour and a half still left of class, with nothing to do. So, I've decided to buy some books so that I can study Java and C++ while I'm in school.
