Fuck you all who said you were coming and did not come. It was a great time and perhaps you can say you are going to come and actually come next year.
Every morning, in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion, or it will be killed. Every morning, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle, or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle; when the sun comes up, you better start running.

You have no idea how much I wanted to come. But the parents aren't really into the whole 'send-their-16-year-old-son-off-to-meet-some-random-guys-he-knows-from-the-internet-for-a-weekend' thing. Oh, well- maybe in a year or two I'll be able to join the fun.
Who all ended up coming, if you don't mind me asking?

Other than the poor attendance and the fact that a few people who were supposed to lecture didn't end up even coming... I'd say that our first Con was a success. Swart and I both gave some lectures and we had some hands on time to just mess around with boxes.
For the lectures that I gave that had slides ( so not the CSRF one ) the lecture slides will be available within the next day or so on my blog. I'll put a bit of commentary on there about them for some context.
