What do you think of the idea of having a newsletter, that members of HBH can subscribe to and will recieve each month.

Some ideas that could be included:
- Latest hacking News
- Latest Exploits
- Tutorials
- Latest Web Wars News

What things would you like to see in it.

Any feedback is greatly appreicated.

I think it's a cool idea, but my concern is: are there enough staff members to do this newsletter and maintain the site?

Does it have to be run by the staff, or should people just submit things and the staff sort out what should be in it and what shouldn't. This would put less strain on the staff trying to meet a deadline.

to do this properly, we will need to have newsletter mods, and writers.

But we wont start selecting these people until, we know how popular this will be.

How about a poll,
If we were to put out an e-mail newsletter would you subscribe?:
1.) Yes
2.) No
3.) I don't care

This is a really good idea. Actually it's perfect :p. If you guys need any help, i'd love to help y'all out. I can be a mod, writer, whatever you need me to do ;).

I got a little idea. Each month we put an interview with one of the hackers at this site. And each month it will be somebody else. Questions like "What got you started" or "How long are you active in the hacking scene" would be really cool and it will be a possibility to get to know someone.

* Anything is possible. *

i think thats a great idea.

Well, it seems the newsletter idea has become popular. So we now need volunteers to be newsletter writers.

Firest0rm - you can run the interviews if you want, seems quite intersting!!

We need writers for the following subjects:
- Latest Exploits
- Latest Hacking News
- Latest Virus threats
- Preaking section

I don't really want to write, but I'll be an editor.

cheese we need to make a scblockedript that places you on a list to get a newsletter. we should prob. make it monthly and see how popular it is from there. that way we can test it out first before going big with it.

true. But it would just be easier to have all the main stories in one place.

Do you have any ideas to include in the newsletter??

Also hack4u -> if you want to be a writer, great!! What would you want to write?

okay look ive brought this up a while ago about a hacking school. Now i know alot of ppl dont like this idea but you wont guess how many times i get that "help me out to become a hacker" or "how do you beat basic 1" etc.

well with the newsletter should be a tut that teaches a new hacking skill for newbs and others. such as
applications for hacking(how to use hex editor)
encryptions and how they work
trojans,(sub7)
C++, VB, PHP, etc

dont give them any answers or any clues to anything located on the site but more of a push and shove onto the topic of all of the above.

think about it
