Hi, just wanted to say hi and congratulate you on a brilliant site.

As the title says I'm new to 'hacking' but have learnt more in the last 2 days or so from this site than weeks at other sites. I have been working slowly on the challenges and learning an awful lot. I must admit to using the lessons to help but after 'beating' each one I went back to try and understand the why and how of the solution.

I've also followed some of the advice in the forums and am getting my brother-in-law, who is a web developer and network admin, to set me up a Linux machine on my network so that I can pratice what I learn here.

Thanks for all the help here and keep it up.

P.S maybe an introduction area for newbies to say hi ?

Hello and welcome to the site.

if you want some advice on this site; try not to ask stupid or obvious questions that could be answered through Google. I'm not saying this is dumb just avoid it in the future
