When I choose you, I will prepare you with all the software and all
you will need to learn.
For your application:
*Tell me about your previous experience in the area
*Tell me what you would like to learn
*Tell me what you want your future to be like
*Tell me about yourself,Hobbies and such.
Please PM me only, if you post your application on here I will ignore it.

Why? You want to prohibit anyone from teaching?
There are people who does not understand that knowledge should be shared!
Great example Network X ! |

Lets look at it this way.
Someone whos qualified to be a teacher in a subject needs to first be very good at what hes teaching. Then lets say they are such a good teacher they can catch someone up to their level in half the time it took them to learn it on their own (Unrealistic BTW).
That means the mentor would have to donate years of their life to said student.
While I agree information and knowledge should be shared, its so much easier to have a qualified individual answer a specific question on a topic he/she may happen to know about than to try and encompass all that is involved from point A to B.
Also if said qualified person is able to be an effective teacher, and willing to donate that much time. Whats more beneficial, him helping one individual to achieve/surpass his level? Or continuing to expand his own knowledge and publicly share his/her research for many to learn from?
Ill take the later any day of the week.
I'm sorry, I cant hear you over the sound of how awesome I am! |

Because this section of the forum is a complete joke, and only one thing comes out from it - flame wars.
If you want to learn how to 'hack', start learning a programming language. If you go with a higher level language, like I did, make yourself a website and set up a CMS and then try to hack it. SQL injections, xss vulnerabilities, RFI, LFI...shit the list is endless. If you go with a lower level programming language like C/C++, then start making your apps AND THEN look into things like buffer overflows and the like.
These forums finally get active in a positive way when people like stdio post up REAL hacking challenges, or people post cool code up like IRC bots and then this shit just turns it all around.
I'm not an active member on this site, and I don't plan to be, but I still go on a few times a week, and would like to see something other than these mentor/apprentice requests posted in the forums. Can an admin please just delete this section already? You guys are just using a modified version of PHP-Fusion, correct? It takes like two seconds to delete sub forums...
In the end, it's topics like these which are just going to end in more flaming. I'm all for learning, but when it comes to computers, you really need to do the bulk of it on your own.
And RootsBabilon, stop making all those accounts, you're not fooling anyone, and it's annoying. |

I think different! Have you ever taught someone? (I have experience) ...
The teacher enhances their knowledge and often learn new things with the student!
I never had a "GURU"! But I think it is very rewarding for both! Have you heard about gratitude?
There are things which have no price! This experience is one of them!
Stay with God! |

I agree with t3rm , I will handle how I teach that person.
This thread was also for questions from the interested ones.
I never said "Feel free to flame".
