Hello-
I have an idea. I have read a few articles here and I see a lot of "this is poorly written" or "it would be better like this" and whatnot. So, why don't we improve how we handle articles here at hellboundhackers?
This is how I see it. What if we was to have a wiki type article database? For example.. anyone can edit a article but it will need to be approved by the author or admin. What if I should flag a article for re-review?
I can see it like this too- I'm reading an article about injections and it doesn't cover csrf however, there is a place for it in there and or you can do some internal linking to another article about csrf.
There are a lot of complains about 'admins accept anything now a days' and that may be the case.. if you like this idea then just say so.. and we can make these articles soo much better if we have collaborative ideas, and filtering.

Bwaaaahahaha. I like the wiki/additions idea, but it'll never be realized with the current staff. System is too busy with his studies to code anything, and I don't think anyone else will grant your wish. |

Well not every article gets accepted. This really isn't a bad idea actually,
something to consider in the future anyways. @spy I'm not even going to reply to that comment.

Dude, remember who you're talking to. The majority of this site's userbase has been fed "working on some stuff" and "in a month or two" for a very, very long time. The only members that did anything either got bored, kicked out or are/were ignored.
Look, if you're going to release new shit, update this place, awesome. Do you have ftp/ssh access? Can you actually implement stuff? If you can, go for it man.

It's a nice idea, but it wont happen anytime soon. Of the three admins who actually sign on nowadays, only two ever check articles, and of them, only one actually reads them first.

Would we really need a wiki for articles? How aboot just a strong affiliation with hakipedia? If we get permission, maybe we could have volunteers transfer and re-write the articles for hakipedia. Also, with permission, I wonder if it would be possible to add the "how-to" articles to hakipedia also.
Just a thought. I'm sure it wouldn't all work that simply but it's a start.

That's a decent idea. But i can see one possible flaw... If we begin to hand over our articles, then our article section could stunt or die off.  And then there's always the possibility that the affiliation either works out great or they steal and run. I haven't been a member long enough really to put an full opinion in, but at least i got my 2 cents!

Well I guess the point of moving them would release the need for an articles section... say, turn it into a link to Hakipedia. We would then just need to reinforce the development of Hakipedia.

OR, we could just get some admins who'll actually take the time to read things before accepting them. Admins who will actually give feedback and suggestions to the writers before accepting/denying them.
