how do you use a wordlist with JTR?

and which ones do you recomend?

they always say to use the cain and abel wordilist...

but how do i USE the word list? do i just put it in with my john file and run 'C:&*92;>john hash.txt' again?

say you named the password file as pass.txt.
enter in this command:

john.exe -wordfile:"c:&*92;program files&*92;cain & abel&*92;wordlists&*92;wordlist.txt" pass.txt
