The other day in school, our class was in the computer lab. I was looking around and they had My Computer and Command prompt showing. I could not use command prompt, but when I popped up my properties I could see the computer name and all. It had Remote Assistance checked. Also, it showed stuff like the IP *DHCP by the way*, subnet mask and that kind of crap. I also got the computer name. Is this safe? I don't really know much about getting into a computer remotely other than Teamviewer. So would this computer be vulnerable to anything that involved someone getting in and doing damage?
