I was thinking it would be a good idea to do kinda like what HTS did and make a LiveCD. With tools installed and some tutorials on linux? just so people can get the idea? dont make it like a DVD but a CD everyone can use

It could be a community project and conrtibuters could get points?

sounds great but like SwiftNomad says it will be lots of work and i don't think staff has much free time left? making it a project will be great but there still needs to be some sort of project leader who controles every thing and i don't think thats so easy or easy done

btw do we have so much tools whe can make 1 full CD of or stuff?

The Live CD wouldn't be that difficult to make. Just modify a Distro of Linux and add some tools which are useful for general hacking.

OMFG! I feel like you've stolen my Idea :(

I was in the process of designing and making my own distro of Linux
Project Name: Cubix (Gnome)
and Kubix (KDE):D

I've started and its hard work soI haven't really got far!

It wouldn't have to be a full cd, we could bo what DamnSmallLinux did and have an option to download extra packages and put them in a directory on the cd like "/extra_apps", and if it was a CD-RW then you could add more at a later time.

Customize gentoo liveCD w/ blackbox, or if that takes to long just use "MySLAX" creeator and it has an easy to follow GUI for wiindows, not alot of customizable features, but its easier.
