Right. thronworld and I have been kicking this idea around.

Details as they stand are:

It'll be in Melbourne's CBD.
It'll be one day (possibly over a weekend, but unlikely).
It'll be a weekend (I work 9-5 weeks).
Realistically it'll just be a meet'n'greet kind of affair, but if the response is good, next year we can grow on it.

Anyone interested? I know of 6 active members who live in an area that could make it.

because im in the earlier stages of learning WEP and WPA cracking, and learning to manage the tools necessary, I will give a live demo of backtrack beta3 and explain to the 'never-done-before' people what crevices you might fall into, and explain the basic steps etc. Hell, will even burn you all a copy of backtrack (live iso).

@Thron: I can show some advanced stuff too. I do have a projector as well, so if we get numbers, I'll grab a venue and we'll throw it up on a wall.
