Hi all,
Not sure if anyone has thought of this before, but...

My idea is to have a 'Where did you hear about HellBound Hackers' Drop down box during member registration.

Could have in drop down box:
Via a search engine
Via a current member
Etc... Etc...

If the new member selects 'Via a current member' a text box appears asking for the current members username, then that current member would receive one month EM.

Thoughts anyone? B)

Kind regards,
Zer0Man

Everyone would just create a second account and point to their original account as the referrer (to get free EM).

Other than that, it could be useful for identifying where the members are coming from. Not sure what HBH could use that information for at the moment though with their limited advertising.

True, maybe (if it can be done) something could be done to check IP's and/or cookies to see if they match to stop this from happening. ;)

riiight, check IPs and cookies. that wont work, nice try tho.

tbh, the free EM idea just wont work, but the linking of who referrerd who would, but.... who cares?

I can tell you right now: Nowhere.

Just MSN. HBH isn't worth anything in the "scene". But that's okay, really.
